The Nike Air Griffey Max 1 ‘Varsity Royal’ is an original colorway that will launch in 2021 as part of the ‘Freshwater’ iteration. Also, this year celebrates the 25th Anniversary of the model.
We saw this model first release in 1996, and the last time this colorway dropped was for Ken Griffey Jr.’s introduction into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1996.
This Nike Air Griffey Max 1 comes dressed in a Varsity Royal, White, Volt, and Black color combination. Furthermore, the block comes just like the OG while constructed with leather and nubuck. Both White and Royal Blue adorns the upper while Black hits the Swoosh and other accents. Finally, Volt appears on the branding and is placed within the Air Max unit to finish the look.
