Baseball season is slowly approaching and that means Nike will launch some of their classic retro baseball sneakers and we aren’t talking about cleats. One of those pairs worn by Ken Griffey Jr. is the Air Griffey Max II. We showed you the Cincinnati Reds model that has been pushed back, but now another pair just released without warning, a trend that seems to be growing.
The Nike Air Griffey Max II that is now available is on the simple side as far as colors used. Featuring a white base, pure platinum comes in while wolf grey stands out a bit more. Not listed on the color description is the use of teal, a tribute to his once MLB team the Seattle Mariners.
The Nike Air Griffey Max II in pure platinum, white and cool grey is now available at FinishLine for $149.99.
