To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Air Max 90, Nike will launch a pair that will feature cork on the sides. You might remember the brand first introducing cork on a sneaker for LeBron on the 10s, which sold out really fast.
As you can see, cork hits the sides, toe box, heel and tongue. But the brand uses familiar colors which was seen on the Air Max 90 OG known as infrared. Placed around the air unit, heel, eyelets and liner, infrared definitely helps in building up hype. They are finished off with a white midsole and black accents.
While a release date for the Cork Nike Air Max 90 is unknown, Urban Industry will be releasing them the first week of April, which is after Air Max Day. We will let you know once a U.S. launch is expected.
