In 2021, Nike Sportswear will release a new Nike Air Max 95 ‘Japan’ iteration. Once again, the looks to be a Japan-exclusive.
The latest rendition comes after a successful year of Air Max 95 releases that celebrated the 25th Anniversary. For Japan, we saw the ‘Spring Flower’ Air Max 95, ‘Cherry Blossom’ Air Max 95, and the ‘Mt Fuji’ Air Max 95.
Looking closer, this Japan iteration of the Nike Air Max 95 features a layered upper while we have vintage advertising throughout. Next, we have TPU on the overlays while the same print adorns the tongue. Black leather then wraps the toe, and Orange appears on the Swoosh by the ankle. Following, Sail runs across the midsole with Orange speckles, while Orange and Volt are placed within the Air Max unit. On the lower part of the side panels, we have Japanese characters while White covers the laces. Lastly, 3M reflective accents land on the eyelets while a Black rubber outsole finishes the look.
