Marion Franklin Rudy, aka Frank Rudy, will forever be attached to Nike because he is the engineer that created Nike’s Air technology. Nike launched the first shoe with ‘Air’ technology, the Air Tailwind, in 1978. In 1980, the brand was able to patent the technology.
This Nike Air Max TW will pay tribute to Rudy and what he achieved with the brand. Highlighted in a Summit White, Safety Orange, Sesame, Light Photo Blue, Lemon Wash, and Black color combination. Constructed with leather, mesh, and suede. The shoes come with a blueprint on the insoles that showcases the technology, barometer hangtags, and EST. 2022 printed on the lateral sole and lace tips.
