Known through the world as the official Dad shoe, the Nike Air Monarch IV was designed in a more appealing fashion for sneakerheads. Here is a look at the Nike Air Monarch IV ‘Black Cement’.
While we do poke fun at the shoes, Nike knows what it’s doing. Through the years of it’s existence, the Air Monarch is the highest selling training shoe from Nike. Overall, they are not geared towards sneaker enthusiasts, which is evident by it’s design. But if you actually like the shoes, we aren’t knocking you, it’s all personal preference.
The ‘Black Cement’ Nike Air Monarch IV shown is actually a sample, so at one point of time the brand was thinking of releasing this pair. Shared by a Nike Employee who not only is a fan of the shoe but also knows the history and can be defined as a specialist.
As you can see, they take the same makeup from the Air Jordan 3, which features black, cement grey and red throughout. As well, they come equipped with elephant print wrapping the toe box and heel. If Nike did decide to release this pair, would you buy them?
