Back in November we showed you a glimpse of the Nike Air Python “Red” and “Black”, today we have the official pictures of the sneakers. Originally introduced back in 1987, sneakerheads still debate where the sneaker derived from – is it related to the Air Jordan 2? Or is the Nike Air Lux a design of its own? No one knows the real answer but one thing is for sure, the materials that make up this shoe is something all sneakerheads can appreciate. The upper is made of full-gran leather, while vachetta leather makes up the collar and lining. Debossed, printed leather makes for a snakeskin-like pattern along the tongue, heel, and quarter panels.
The Nike Air Python Lux will be available in black or red at select Nike retail stores sometime this month. Stay tuned to Sneakerfiles as more information about the actual release date becomes available. In the meantime, scroll down to see more detailed pictures of the shoe and don’t forget to tell us what you think.
