Nike Sportswear has heard the outcry from fans of Andre Agassi and will bring back several original colorways of his second signature shoe, the Air Tech Challenge II. The “Hot Lava” iteration will return in 2024, but the brand has more in store for 2025. One of the planned releases is the “Racer Pink” ATC 2 will return in Spring 2025.

Although overlooked, this Air Tech Challenge II is an original colorway released in 1990 and was a women’s exclusive. However, in 2025, the pair will be released in men’s sizes. As for the ’90s pair, it came dressed in a White, Fluorescent Pink, Zane Grey, and Zane Grey color scheme. The new launch will swap Fluorescent Pink for Racer Pink, but the blocking will stay the same.

This Nike Air Tech Challenge II comes dressed in a White, Racer Pink, Light Smoke Grey, and Coconut Milk color combination. Although the photo is a rendering, it accurately represents what will be released in 2025. Furthermore, the color blocking resembles the original “Fluorescent Pink” rendition from 1990. Utilizing White leather on the base with perforations on the panels. Highlighting the shoes, we have Racer Pink on the Swoosh logos, top eyelet, Nike Air branding on the tongue and heels, inside of the tongue, and splatter on the sides. Next, Grey adorns the overlays and above the midsole. Speaking of the midsole, part of it has Coconut Milk, giving it an aged look. Lastly, a White and Grey rubber outsole completes the design.
