There is no sneaker in Nike’s line of retros that is safe from becoming a Sneakerboot or Winterized. While they have heavily used the models from the Air Max line and a few Dunks, they will add the Nike Air Trainer SC 2 to the sneakerboot series.
The overall look resembles that of the Trainer SC II with the traditional midfoot strap and midsole but there are a few minor changes for winter. First you will notice the higher build which should help from rain or snow getting on your socks. Following would be the ticker sole helping your keep traction.
So far there are three color schemes lined up; wheat and white, burgundy and white, black, white and red.
The trio of Nike Air Trainer SC 2 Sneakerboots doesn’t have a specific release date, however they should be showing up at Nike Sportswear accounts soon since winter is heading our way. Below you can see the other two models and make sure to check back with us for additional details.
