Being down with Yeezus has its perks, as GOOD Music signee Cyhi The Prynce can attest to. Cyhi posted the below pic to his Instagram account for this week’s Throwback Thursday, featuring a black leather Nike Air Yeezy 2 sample which he claimed was the first Yeezy 2 ever made. While the shoes maintain the key features of the retail version, there are some noticeable differences, mainly the use of perforated leather on the upper instead of mesh. Another key difference is the use of a solid-white midsole, instead of the half-grey or half-black/glow-in-the-dark green midsole seen on the final versions. Hit the jump for another look at this rare sample, and let us know how these rank in comparison to the other colorways we’ve seen thus far.
