Just in time before the NBA Playoffs begin on April 19th, Nike has officially announced the release date of the Nike Basketball Elite Series Gold Collection. The collection, which includes the LeBron 11 Elite, Kobe 8 Elite and KD VI Elite, is complied of Gold hues, high quality materials, advanced construction and athlete insight.
The Nike LeBron 11 Elite “Gold” edition features a full Black base with Gold details, a sneaker worthy enough for the King himself. Designed by Eric Avar, the Nike Kobe 9 Elite “Gold” is fitted with a White Flyknit upper with Grey, Black and Gold embellishments throughout the sneaker. Inspiration is drawn from the one thing everyone in the NBA wants at the end of the season… Lastly, the Nike KD VI Elite “Gold” is symbolic for Kevin Durant’s quest to bring home the winning trophy for his team. The sneaker features a White base with Black and Gold accents and a new design “35-6” logo added to the tongue.
The Nike Basketball Elite Series Gold Collection is scheduled to go on sale at select Nike retailers such as FinishLine and FootLocker this Summer. Let us know what you think of the collection? Any of the three stand out more than the others? Which one are you planning on getting?
