The Nike Blazer Mid is part of Nike’s DÃa de Muertos collection, aka Day of the Dead.
DÃa de Muertos, which translates to ‘Day of the Dead,’ is celebrated between October 31st and November 2nd. The holiday is celebrated throughout Mexico and gathers to pray for and remember friends and family members who have passed away, helping support their spiritual journey.
Using a toned-down look compared to the Air Max 90, this Nike Blazer Mid features patterns and materials that represent Marigold, the Mexican flower, also known as la caléndula. Highlighted with what appears to be a cracked leather base, a unique design covers the Swoosh and forefoot overlays. A Marigold is spotted stitched by the heel, while a Black tongue and White on the sole finishes the look.
