Nike Book 1 “Mirage” Releasing February 2024

With the 2023-24 NBA Season underway, we have multiple color options of Devin Booker’s first signature shoe set to launch. One of those is the Nike Book 1 “Mirage” which will be released on February 17, 2024, for $140.

This edition of the Nike Book 1 is available in a range of colors, including Light Orewood Brown, Sesame, Baroque Brown, Sail, and Safety Orange. The upper of the shoe is made from a combination of soft fabrics and nubuck overlays, and the perforations on the ankle add for breathability. Inside, the shoe features a comfortable nylon lining. The Safety Orange highlights, particularly the “Book” logo on the tongue, add a vibrant burst that also adorns the insoles.

In addition to its style and functionality, the Nike Book 1 also pays homage to Devin Booker’s life journey. On the medial side of the shoe, there is a barcode that includes significant numbers, such as Booker’s jersey number and the zip codes of Grand Rapids and Phoenix. The tongue tag of the shoe displays his family’s initials and the heel tab is designed to resemble the pages of a book, showcases Booker’s birth year, “96”. Furthermore, the “Chapter One” spine on the heel cleverly references the shoe’s name, which is inspired by book spines.
