Nike Clogposite “Chrome” Releases August 2024

The Nike Clogposite “Chrome” is one of multiple pairs that will return in 2024. It will be released on August 22, 2024, and will retail for $140.

Following an official look at the “Black” Nike Clogposite, we now have a look at the upcoming “Chrome” rendition. The model was first released in the 2000s and returned in retro form for the first time in 2014 (known as the Solo Slide). It utilizes DNA from the Nike Air Flightposite, a shoe that will also make a return in 2024. 

Upon its initial launch, the silhouette didn’t sell well and was looked down upon. However, slip-ons, Crocs, and mule shoes are at an all-time high in popularity. This is why we will see the “Chrome” Nike Clogposite and other color options return, including a collaboration with Supreme.

This Nike Clogposite resembles the OG Flightposite colorway, dressed in Black and Metallic Silver. Nike has removed the ankle of the model and made it into a slide-on, and has also removed the zipper shroud, but kept the neoprene overlay. We have a Black shank plate on the lateral side, while the medial side features a mesh window for breathability. The Foamposite shell is dipped in Metallic Silver with a White Swoosh on the insoles. Lastly, a milky translucent outsole completes the design.
