When Nike borrows a name from a previous release, they usually change it up a bit and will have some elements taking on the original release. The brand choose not to do it this time with the Nike Darwin.
What’s most odd about the release, there is no resemblance to the original Nike Air Darwin that released in 1994 and made famous by Dennis Rodman. Technically all Nike did was drop the Air and made something new. Instead, they will feature Dual-mesh upper, TPU heel harness and Flywire technology.
Two pairs of the Nike Darwin are now releasing at Nike Sportswear retailers and are known as ‘Triple White’ and ‘Triple Black’. You can currently pick them up at KITH and will retail for $80 each. Get a closer look at both pairs by scrolling below.
