Gold is a color that is rarely seen used by Nike as the base color for their Dunks, however with past Gold releases like the Olympic Dunk High, it is only right that they do another pair for 2008.
The Metallic Gold, White and Black Dunk High seen above stands out from most of the recent releases and is very clean, but Nike made the mistake of using a foil like material for the Gold, which really made the shoe slightly less appealing. Nike has used this style as a template and will be releasing this shoe in a Silver and Black color-way.

Nike is falling behind, this colorway has already been done by Creative Recreation. Trying to play follow the leader when it comes to hot colors for the season doesnt work in the spring time when you are dropping winter time colors. Dont those guys in Beaverton watch fashion week?
