Nike Sportswear will release a “Dia De Muertos” Collection in October 2023. Building upon the list, we have the Nike Dunk Low “Dia De Muertos” launching in women’s sizing.
This Dunk Low joins the Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT 2 and the Air Max 1. The collection honors the Mexican holiday, celebrated on November 1st and 2nd. Traditions connected to the Holiday include honoring the dead, building home altars (ofrendas), and visiting graves with gifts.
Dipped in a Black, Khaki, Metallic Gold, Medium Ash, and Sail color combination. This Nike Dunk Low has textured leather on the upper and reptile texture across the overlays. Borrowing cues from the marigold and hummingbird are connected to the Día De Muertos history. Suede adorns the Swoosh logos and heel tabs with Pink branding on the tongues and heels. Other details include aged laces, a White midsole, and a Gum rubber outsole.
