Today, October 9th 2008 the House of Hoops will open up shop in L.A. in the Beverly Center. In true Nike fashion, 4 different Nike Hyperdunks will release as a House of Hoops L.A. exclusive. To put a twist on the pack, all pairs of the Nike Hyperdunks scheduled to drop are inspired by Kobe Bryant.
Each Nike Hyperdunk is inspired by something in Kobe Bryant’s life. Here is the run down on each pair: paying homeage to Kobe Bryant’s High School, the Lower Merion Aces a Hyperdunk will launch in the schools color scheme. Second pair is contributed ot Kobe Bryant’s favorite Soccer Player, Ronaldinho.
The third Nike Hyperdunk is inspired by when Bryant was 6 and his father left the NBA and moved to Italy. Bryant spent 7 years in Italy, and learned to speak the language fluently. The last pair is inspired by one of Kobe’s greatest moments in the NBA, scoring 81 points against the Toronto Raptors. Show up at the House of Hoops early today to grab your pair.
