Ja Morant’s first signature shoe, the Nike Ja 1, will officially debut this month, April 2023. We received a first look on Christmas Day, December 25th, 2022, when the Memphis Grizzlies took on the Golden State Warriors. While there are mixed opinions on the model, for the most part, it seems like people like the look, which is a good thing since Nike Basketball has plenty of colorways coming. Another pair launching soon is the Nike Ja 1 ‘Sundial’ that will release exclusively in kids sizing.
This Nike Ja 1 features a White, Sundial, Cobalt Bliss, and Blue Lightning color combination. Constructed with mesh and leather throughout, Orange fills in the Swoosh logos that extend onto the heels. Next, camouflage Multi-Color appears on the quarter panels, Morant’s ‘JA’ logo lands on the tongues and insoles, while his number ’12’ is embroidered on the heels. Other details include speckled White midsoles and a camouflage rubber outsole.
You can expect the Nike Ja 1 GS ’Sundial’ to release at select retailers and Nike.com on May 8th. The retail price is $90. Continue to scroll below for more photos giving you a closer look.
