A first look of the Nike KD 7 being called Electric Eel only came a week ago and now they are available early via eBay. It is somewhat obvious to why they are nicknamed electric eel, but we are still trying to figure out how this will tie into Kevin Durant.
The Electric Eel Nike KD 7 features black mesh on the toe box and midsole while metallic pewter and anthracite hit the Hyperposite. The pattern formed is the same of some species of electric eels which is where the nickname comes from, but just like in all cases they are linked to the athlete. Flash lime represents electricity which hits the swoosh, tongue and mid-foot strap. Last but not least we have lyon blue on the outsole and liner. If we had to guess, this would be for water.
