The Nike KD 8 ‘Aunt Pearl’ will release during the month of February 2016. Paying tribute to his late Aunt, this marks the 5th launch in the series.
What started on the KD 4 and is one of the best ‘Aunt Pearl’ releases along with the KD 7. Now we look towards the latest release, the KD 8.
The Nike KD 8 Aunt Pearl will feature a mixture of Pink, Purple Blue and Black. Seen through the uppers is roses in Purple and Red while the backdrop illuminates with Blue. Pink is then placed across the liner, laces and mixed in the White midsole.
Aunt Pearl, who helped shaped the man Kevin Durant has become will also benefit the Kay Yow Cancer Fund with proceeds of the sales.
Nike KD 8 Aunt Pearl Release Date
Multiple retailers are stating the ‘Aunt Pearl’ Nike KD 8 will be available on February 22nd, 2016 which is a Tuesday. The past two KD releases for Aunt Pearl has landed on a Thursday, which could mean that the 22nd is something significant to Durant and his Aunt. Retail price will be $200 which is more than double what the KD 4 retailed for.
Currently images have yet to leak for the ‘Aunt Pearl’ KD 8 and the two used are Photoshops. We should get our first look in a few weeks so make sure to stay tuned.

Update: Tomorrow the Nike KD 8 ‘Aunt Pearl’ will release at select Nike Basketball locations which supports the Kay Yow Foundation. One shop you will be able to purchase from is Sneaker Politics. Retail price will be $200.
