Nike Basketball recently released the first model of the Nike KD 9 which didn’t take long to sell-out. Granted it was a limited release but things are looking good for Kevin Durant’s latest signature shoe. Celebrating his ninth shoe, Nike has presented an illustrated series that goes through each of his signature models.
The art was done by Ames Bros who designed nine different posters. Starting out with the Nike KD 1 which Durant played for the Seattle Supersonics, but when the 2s came out, the team had moved to Oklahoma City and with that, came the name change of Thunder. Of course the overall color scheme changed as well. Each poster art is highlighted with one of the most popular themes for the particular model.
Below you can check out all of the posters created by Ames Bros for Nike Basketball. It will also show how the KD signature series evolved through the years.
