This Nike Kobe 5 Protro comes dressed in the classic ‘Lakers’ theme while utilizing Purple synthetic across the upper while Black accents are spread throughout and Gold lands on the trimming. In addition we have snakeskin used on the heel counter while Metallic Silver is used on the Kobe branding located on the tongue. Other highlights includes White on the midsole, translucent rubber outsole and a Lakers inspired design on the liner.

Update 8/9: Nike is celebrating Mamba Day by releasing the ‘Lakers’ Kobe 5 Protro which will take place on August 24th for $180.
Update 4/1: While a release was reported to take place on April 1st, Nike has confirmed that the ‘Lakers’ Kobe 5 Protro release has been postponed. While a new release date is unknown, Nike did say they would offer info in the coming future.
