It wouldn’t be proper if Nike didn’t drop a pair of Kobe 9s inspired by his nickname, the black mamba. After Vanessa Bryant showed us a preview of the snakeskin Elite EXT then images leaked here and there, we finally have an official look.
The Kobe 9 Elite EXT Snakeskin isn’t exactly inspired by the black mamba but still a snake, a venomous copperhead to be exact. Brown and tan mix it up making it resemble the copperhead. Premium leather in black is seen on the tongue, collar and heel giving it that off court feel. Chrome is used on the inlays and insignia while a translucent sole caps it off.
Available to select Nike Sportswear accounts and NikeStore online on November 29th. Retail is $250.
