The Nike Zoom Kobe VII (7) is due out in stores directly after Christmas, today its performance specs were unveiled and you can now see what comes with the increased retail prices performance model.
With the upper being built and constructed of Next-Gen Flywire, the fit and flexibility should be fairly similar to last year’s Kobe VI. A polyurethane shell has been incorporated once again to provide the shoe with a bit of protection against the rigors of on-court play. Two midsoles and compression sleeves come with the sneakers, each detailing different cushion and fit needs. Attach Fast features the midfoot compression liner in addition to the compression-molded phylon midsole, heel and forefoot Zoom units are in place for cushion. Attack Strong utilizes the high top compression sleeve with its Cushlon midsole giving you a slightly different option with both the fit and cushion set ups.
The only down side I see at this point is the inability to use either midsole with either of the compression sleeves… giving you options that are limited. Either way, this looks to be another great model for your on-court games just as Kobe’s previous models have been.
