Back in 2011, Nike Basketball and LeBron James celebrated the release and tour of Kanye West and Jay-Z’s Watch The Throne while using the Nike LeBron 9.
While the Black pair is already rare, there is a ‘Metallic Gold’ Sample which is even more rare than the original. Instead of using Black across the upper, they have replaced it with Metallic Gold. The Black midsole is still intact with Gold speckled detailing. The look is then completed with a Glow in the Dark translucent outsole.
Nike will release the ‘Watch the Throne’ LeBron 16 during All-Star Weekend, however this LeBron 9 sample won’t be available to the public, nor release.
