We’ve seen it all when it comes to the Nike LeBron 9 and corresponding “Nerf” customs. If you recall, 2012 and 2011 brought us the Nike LeBron 9 Low “Nerf”, Nike LeBron 9 “Un-Nerf”, and the Nike LeBron 9 “Nerf”, all by custom sneaker designer Mache whereas today Twizz Customs offers his take on the popular theme. You may ask, “What’s do different?” Well, in this case Twizz renders the “What the Nerf”.
Here’s what the artist had to say about his latest work:
Featured in this
work are two themes, the well known Nerf theme, putting a twist with Nike’s “What the …” theme. From the ground up, the midsole is red faded to orange with a blue and orange speckle effect. The carbon fiber plates were modified with a spray effect in blue/red/green. The outer right sneaker features an anodized blue fading to purple with a grey/black spray effect down the middle. The inside of the same sneaker features a metallic red color blocking. The left sneaker features an inverted version of the right sneaker with the metallic red on the outside, grey spray effect down the middle, and blue fading to purple on the inside. Finally the tongues are a blue and yellow splatter with the a yellow and orange LeBron signature.
