The Nike LunarEpic Flyknit Shield features a water repellent upper, ensuring that athletes can run with confidence and ease through the inclement conditions of the changing seasons.
The shoe’s one-piece Flyknit upper is now constructed with DWR (durable, water-repellent)-coated TPU yarn and a water-repellant internal bootie to keep the foot warm and dry. The laser-siped outsole pattern—inspired by car tires—is now grooved to increase surface area, repel water and further maximize traction. The shoe’s mid-height collar continues to provide a locked-down, dynamic fit, emphasizing natural movement from the ankle to the foot.
