Last October we caught wind of a “Chicago Marathon” Nike Lunarglide 2 inspired by said marathon. The pair pictured here also carries some importance. On a recent episode of Oprah Winfrey’s show, co-founder and Chairman of Nike, Phil Knight, presented her as well as her entire audience with the “Oprah” Nike Lunarglide 2. It comes in a grey/volt color palette, reads “Oprah” on the tongue, and contains shoe laces that read both “Winfrey” and “Knight” on them. Moreover, Oprah’s favorite tree type is also found on the insole, where it reads PK x OW 2011. Only 400 pairs were made and distributed to both Oprah/her family and the live audience that day. Do you wish you could score a pair?
