The Nike PG 1, Paul George’s first signature shoe will debut first in the ‘2K’ theme which has been unveiled by Nike Basketball.
Paul George will be the 21st athlete with a signature shoe from Nike Basketball in 44 years. He will also officially debut the Nike PG 1 on-court on Thursday, January 12th in London when the Indiana Pacers take on the Denver Nuggets.
The Nike PG1 will be the most affordable signature Nike Basketball shoe on the market while still retaining some of the high-end technology the brand offers. For performance, we have a forefoot strap along with Flywire. Zoom Air is added in the forefoot along with a full-bootie construction is added. The last detail is a multidirectional scale-inspired blade outsole which provides ample traction.
Although you can expect a handful of colorways, the first is the 2K Nike PG1. This pair is inspired by Paul George’s love for NBA 2K, also being on the cover of 2K17. On the insole is George from the video game while a bobber lace toggle is inspired by his love of fishing.
