We saw Nike release Paul George’s third signature shoe, the PG 3 during the early part of 2019 and the first pair to release was the ‘NASA’ edition. The release was inspired by NASA’s Armstrong Building 703 which is located in George’s hometown of Palmdale, California.
The next NASA release with Nike will celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the moon landing. Known as the ‘Apollo Missions’, the release will feature White and Metallic Gold. Using White across the base and Metallic Gold lands on the Swoosh. Following we have the famous quote by Paul Brandt on the midsole which reads “Don’t tell me the sky’s the limit when there are footprints on the moon”. Other details includes the NASA logo on the heel and an icy translucent outsole.
