From November 23-26, Portland, Oregon, will host PK80, a double-bracket basketball tournament honoring Nike founder Phil Knight’s 80th birthday.
Nike has unveiled the special PK80 Collection in all-black for the event. Included is the Kyrie 3, PG 1, Kobe AD and KD 10, which feature iridescent highlights in an ode to his shining shades. North Carolina, the lone Jordan Brand program in the tournament, will wear a PK80 version of the Air Jordan 32 and Super.Fly 2017.
Participating programs include Arkansas, Butler, Connecticut, Duke, DePaul, Florida, Gonzaga, Michigan State, North Carolina, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oregon, Portland, Portland State, Stanford and Texas.
Men’s games will be played at Moda Center and Veterans Memorial Coliseum. In addition, the women’s teams of Connecticut, Michigan State, Oklahoma and Oregon will take the court at Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene, Oregon, on November 25. These storied programs account for 78 tournament bids, 22 Final Fours and 11 titles. The collection will not release at retailers.
