This day in age, Nike Running creations include such evolved performance sneakers as the Nike Free Run 2. However, there is a very rich history behind the Nike swoosh and its performance sneakers. One chapter in that history is the one where Nike designed the Pre Montreal for one of its first endorsed athletes, Steve Prefontaine, in preparation of the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal, which he unfortunately did not get to perform in before being in a life ending car accident. Well, Nike has reissued the Pre Montreal in this vintage form with a black/white color palette and apparently worn down soles. You can find these now at Nike Running carriers online.
