The integration of high end fashion lines and streetwear is at an all time high, in recent years. With luxury being the dominate trend in urban fashion right now, we’re seeing an increasing amount of late 90’s, Versace-inspired products, the most noticable being the Supreme x Nike Air Foamposites. Notice the yellow-gold decoration on the Supreme kicks are similar to the patterns that covered botton-down shirts worn by some of hip hop’s greatest, like Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac Shakur. Sneaker artist, Sole 4 The Soul, has decided to keep the royally influenced theme alive with a new spin on the trend.
The Nike Roshe Run “Versace” customs by Sole 4 The Soul have a color blocking scheme with mint, blue and yellow arriving on the uppers and a white midsole. The midfoot panels are covered entirely in a mint green, while the toes see some more action with a black leopard print on top of a royal blue mesh base. Classic Versace-inspired detailing adorns the Nike Swoosh on the side, complimenting the mint green nicely. For some extra unique points, a visual of an oasis screens it’s way across the rear paneling. The brightness that the clean white midsole adds to these shoes make them the perfect pick-up for summer!
