In 2025, Nike will celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Air Max 95 by collaborating with Nike Skateboarding, a subdivision of the brand. The result will be the Nike SB Air Max 95, which will feature an upgraded design with materials better suited for skating, similar to the Nike SB Air Jordan 4.

First reported by Brendan Dunne of Complex, we can also confirm from our sources that the Nike SB Air Max 95 will be released in 2025.

Sergio Lozano designed the Nike Air Max 95, drawing inspiration from human anatomy, particularly the structure of the spine and ribs. This unconventional design approach resulted in a groundbreaking silhouette featuring layered panels, gradient colorways, and visible Air cushioning in the forefoot and heel. Released in 1995, the Air Max 95 quickly became an icon in sneaker culture and streetwear fashion, showcasing Lozano’s visionary design.

At the time of writing, photos of the SB Air Max 95 have yet to leak. However, we may see the original “Neon” rendition, a certified classic. Furthermore, other color options could be in the pipeline. Like other cross-collaborations, the shoes are expected to feature extra padding and upgraded materials to withstand the wear and tear of skating.
