Nike Skateboarding just unveiled the Nike SB Zoom Blazer Mid Lance Mountain ‘Friends and Family’ which features a distinctive upper inspired by ‘70s-era prism-fade concert posters.
“The colorway — the rock poster fade — is connected to a look that has been tied to me for some time,” explains Mountain. “I have used it on my board graphics, for example, throughout my career.”
In addition to the upper’s color scheme, the tile-like debossing on the heel also nods to Mountain’s history, with both pool skating and the Nike SB Blazer silhouette. The left shoe features “78,” in reference to the year Mountain first remembers seeing the Blazer regularly in the pages of skate magazines, and the right shoe reads “17,” to represent both the present day and a nod to the future.
Currently release information for the Nike SB Blazer Mid Lance Mountain Friends and Family is unknown but it doesn’t look like they will release anytime soon. Make sure to check back with us for updates.
