Nike SB Dunk Low “City of Love” Pack Releasing February 2024

The Nike SB Dunk Low “City of Love” Pack features two pairs of SB Dunk Lows with tonal patterns and will celebrate Valentine’s Day in 2024. Both pairs will be released on February 9, 2024, and will cost you $125 each.

In 2024, Nike Sportswear will release multiple pairs of Dunks to celebrate Valentine’s Day. This shouldn’t come as a surprise, as it’s now a yearly tradition. But for 2024, Nike Skateboarding will get on board with the drops with two pairs of Nike SB Dunk Lows. Nike SB did launch Valentine’s Day kicks in the past, but it has been a while since the last release. Furthermore, instead of just naming the shoes “Valentine’s Day,” the pack is known as the “City of Love,” where fate and love collide.

Although called “City of Love,” both SB Dunks were originally known as the “Red String of Fate.” The red string is popular in Chinese mythology, where two people believe they are meant to be together and are connected by an invisible Red thread. Sometimes, the thread is attached to the fingers or ankles, depending on who tells the story. Other parts of the world have also adopted this theory.

The first Nike SB Dunk Low part of the collection comes dressed in Coconut Milk, Light Bone, Phantom, University Red, and Sail. As for the second, it features a Burgundy Crush, Dark Team Red, Earth, Dark Pony, and University Red color combination. The two come with layered Swoosh logos on the panels, speckled detailing on the midsoles, and a Red string intertwined with the Nike SB logo on the tongues. A pair of hands with more Red thread appears on the insoles. Aside from the colors used, the difference between the two is that silk material is used on the Coconut Milk pair, and velvet lands on the Burgundy Crush iteration.
