Nike SB is launching a two pair pack inspired by the 1990 Wold Series matchup, the Cincinnati Reds vs. the Oakland A’s. Our first look of the pack is the Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Nasty Boys’ Cincinnati Reds.
From the info we have received, the Nasty Boys Dunk SB Low will actually be a collaboration with a skate shop out of Cincinnati, but the store is unknown at this time. The A’s edition will also be a collab with a store based out of Oakland, California.
The nickname Nasty Boys was given to the relief pitchers of the Reds; Norm Charlton, Rob Dibble and Randy Myers. According to sources, there was actually five members of the clique which also included Tim Layana and Tim Birtsas.
Featuring red nubuck through the overlays and outsole that is followed up with grey panels, tongue and toe box. Gold accents fill in the leather swoosh, Nasty Boys on the heel as well as the Nike branding. Other details include a white midsole, laces, a red cross stitch resembling baseball seams on the tongue and the American Flag by the heel.
