There are some rare samples from Nike SB floating around, and once again, another pair popped up. Shown is the Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Promethazine Codeine’, a 1-of-1 unreleased sample. Inspired by lean aka purple drank and sizzurp, a mixture of codeine cough syrup, soda, and candy.
This Nike SB Dunk Low was scrapped once some of the higher-ups at Nike learned what the inspiration was from. Going over the pair, it features Purple suede on the overlays for the drink, and a crackled White base represents the styrofoam cup. Finally, the outsole has a dark translucent finish, a nod to the codeine medicine bottle.
