The Nike SB Stefan Janoski Flyleather was originally unveiled in September 2020. Now the brand is set to release a new colorway which comes in Pure Platinum.
The new iteration of the Nike SB Stefan Janoski features a Flyleather construction made with at least 50% recycled leather fiber, resulting in a more sustainably-minded skate shoe that merges the principles of circular design and the silhouette’s signature minimalist style.
On the upper, the silhouette flips the Flyleather over for a suede-like touch. Environmentally friendly materials are used in design features like the recycled flat laces. Thoughtful considerations are made in other ways, too, like how the minimally-embroidered Swoosh uses just enough thread for the mark’s shape. On the outsole, the rubber has been thinned out in key areas for a lightweight, broken-in feel.
