As a part of this past Sunday’s Nike+ activities, Nike Sportswear’s 21 Mercer held a special event within its SoHo storefront.
August 12, 2012–Last night the Nike+ Vertical Challenge took place at 21 Mercer as part of a global celebration with New York joining alongside London and Berlin in this special event to #findgreatness.
A select group came together to test the latest attributes of Nike+ outfitted in the limited edition NRG Nike+ Hyperdunks. This new technology utilizes the next evolution of Nike+ Pressure Sensors built into each Nike+ Hyperdunk to collect information of how high, how hard and how quick players move in their workout or their game.
Tracking, measuring and competing, selected guests broke off into four teams, challenging each other in one on one face-offs to earn overall points for their teams. In the end it all came down to Kwame Adams as the overall winner at 21 Mercer and earning for his team a ceremonial Nike+ prize pack.
