In 1984, ’85, and ’86, Nike introduced the Nike V-Series, a collection of original running sneakers that included the Nike Vector, Vengeance, and Vortex models. Each constructed with a purpose, the Vengeance was amazingly lightweight; the Venture provided unprecedented support; and the Vortex set the standard for what it meant to have superb cushioning in a high quality running sneaker.
Some 25+ years later, the mid-80’s Venture and Vortex models are making a return in new colorways while maintaining their same great comfortable fit and classic style. As the Venture will release in a navy blue canvas and suede colorway with a metallic silver Swoosh and vintage-inspired PU foam midsole, the Vortex will receive no special treatment and release in a thick black suede colorway with silver accents. Both models will include Nike’s OG-inspired packaging.
