Although today signals the true beginning of March Madness, Nike Basketball has stolen some of the thunder and managed to retain the attention of sneakerheads with the official unveiling of the Nike Basketball Elite Series for the 2012 NBA Playoffs.
The new Zoom Hyperdunk Elite retains the overall look of the 2011, but now utilizes an icy outsole, special sockliner and memory foam collar for added comfort, Kevlar Flywire for added support and carbon fiber on the shank and external heel counter.
Set to retail for $200, look for the kicks to debut in “Home” and “Away” colorways at the end of April.
