The Nike Zoom KD III is being released in a number of colorways that would appeal not only to fans of the Oklahoma City Thunder. Most recently, we caught wind of one that sported team orange highlights amidst a black/white/grey base. Although the Nike Zoom KD III pictured here sports a colorway reminiscent of the Washington Redskins team colors, there is still a connection here. Kevin Durant is Washington, D.C.-born; and, much like friend and fellow sneaker enthusiast, rapper Wale, KD roots for the Washington Redskins squad. A sample size 9 of this colorway is up for bidding now on eBay, while the general release date is tentatively scheduled for May 6th of this year.
