Nike Zoom Lebron VI (6) - Akron 

This past weekend, Lebron James attended the NBA 2009 All Star Weekend in which he gave us a first look at the newest colorway of the Nike Zoom Lebron VI (6). At that time, we were unsure of the inspiration behind the pair, but after some more detailed pictures, it is quite obvious that this colorway is inspired by the city where James was born—Akron, Ohio. Nike has even gone to the extent of including the name of the street where “the King” grew up, Hickory. Featuring a navy blue rear with white imagery accented by a white toebox, a white swoosh, and a navy blue midsole, this pair has an overall clean and fresh look. Nike has spruced up this colorway by including many gold accents seen throughout the sneaker. An official release date is still under question, but be sure to stay tuned for updates. Via SC.

  1. i'm really tired of seein so many lebrons that i will never in my life get to touch… this fool releases so much exclusive shit that he doesnt give people to like his product… i'm sure jordan didnt released all kinda exlusives for his granparents dead cat like lebron does… and everybody can take a page from his book……. i mean…

    how many times have you seen some lebrons and said "damn… dem hoes thowed" … only to scroll down and see that some bullshit bodega in kentucky is the only store gettin them… i know that nobody gives a damn what we think… but for fuck's sake, lebron… can you please release some clean stuff to the masses? you did good wit the chalks… keep it goin, bruh…
