We all remember the monumental 2009 NBA Slam Dunk Contest Final Round, pitting defending champion Dwight ‘Superman’ Howard against the gravity defying Nate ‘Kryptonate’ Robinson, or more specifically — for us sneakerheads — Nate’s PE Foamposite Lites. The same radioactive color scheme that dropped so many jaws is now being applied to the latest model in Nike‘s ‘posite’ family, the Zoom Skyposite. Featuring a gradient upper similar to that of the Amare Stoudemire PE Zoom Skyposite we showed you a few days ago, the colorway also incorporates Green Spark into the sole and tongue tag. Although the model has no official affiliation with Robinson, it will be hard to distinguish the sneakers from Kryptonate’s high flying antics. The vibrant colorway will make its way into House of Hoops locations this December.
