NikeiD-Air-Jordan-2011-11

August 16th will mark the first time that an Air Jordan flagship model will be available to customize on NikeiD.

Your choice of solid rubber or translucent outsoles, color blocking and of course your iD options on the tongue and heel. One down side is that they have done away with the patina leather used around the base of the upper. Instead you can choose between a synthetic or patent leather build unless you are able to get to a Nike Design Studio, in which case you can forego the cheap leather route and use Lapacho leather.

No word on price at the moment but you can bet they’ll cost more than your typical AJ2011’s.

  1. @ Mike that would be nice for some retro’s like probably only the AJ 1 (resembles similar to the AJ 1 iD “Alpha” for $160.) Maybe the AJ II since we’ve seen varieties (Ex: “Candy Pack”) I think that would be it, but then we’ll start hearing people say, “Why ruin a classic?”

  2. Nice concept but I wouldn’t want to pay a premium price for synthetic leather. Considering the flagship release models cost $170 these will probably go for $200. Usually, there is a $30-35 markup for the I.D. model option.

  3. I really want to make the UNC white/ powder blue pe’s…..that is the only colorway that i really liked and it never released…would be the first jordan that I purchased other than a retro since 2001
