New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. recently signed a shoe deal with Nike. Reports are stating that he signed a five year deal with Nike which is worth north of $25 million. This makes for the biggest shoe deal in NFL history.
The original contract Odell signed with Nike expired on May 1st. Nike resigned him which they plan to have him as a brand icon, however the deal does not include a signature shoe. Rumor has it adidas tried to lock Odell in a contract and it appears that Nike either matched the deal or exceeded it.
From Nice Kicks, the deal could go up to $48 million over 8 years that will include additional incentives. This makes it the biggest shoe deal in NFL history.
