New York Giants receiver, Odell Beckham Jr. will take the field today in a pair of custom Nike cleats.
Making headlines earlier in the week, ODJ wore a special pair of cleats that were a tribute to Craig Sager. While he put the cleats up for auction, the NFL fined him $18,000 for wearing them.
While Beckham won’t be playing on Christmas Day, he will be wearing a unique Nike Vapor Untouchable Christmas PE.
The cleat incorporates grass from Reginelli Way — hand-cut by Coach Stewart — as well as other team-specific embellishments, and was produced at Nike World Headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon inside the Builder Lab.
“The Builder Lab focuses on creating quick turn product samples, including custom footwear that solves the needs of the world’s best athletes,” says Mike Yonker, VP of Innovation, Nike.
