Created for Odell Beckham Jr. to wear before his season ending injury, the New York Giants Wide Receiver received the Nike Vapor Untouchable Reflections Cleats.
Nike has designed this special custom cleats for Beckham in partnership with the athletes each week. Known as ‘Reflections’, inspiration comes from OBJ’s life and what he went through to get where he is at now.
From far away, the red-on-white graphic looks like your standard Toile de Jouy (a French pattern that became popular in the 18th century). But look closer and you’ll see it’s actually a combination of these seven most meaningful things and moments in Beckham Jr.’s life. This includes his love for dogs, 40-yard dash time, iconic one-handed catch, Fleur de Lis, Lady Liberty, birthday and more.
Nike also released matching t-shirts that will be sold at select New York and New Jersey locations on October 7th.
